Ladakh Himachal Bike Tour 2020
We welcome all riders at our hotel in Manali. On reaching we will brief everyone about the tour, do’s and don’ts and all the preparation about the tour.Today we will meet the tour leader and the team who will brief the same.Overnight Hotel at Manali
Day 02: Manali –Serchu.Today we start our wonderful journey to beauty of ladakh, we start drive to Sarchu via crossing Baralacha Pass (4890m) a beautiful drive on high altitude to be remembered for a lifetime. Serchu is the border of Ladakh and Himachal.The place also radiats the transition from green valleys Stay overnight in Sarchu at camps.
Day 03: Sarchu to LehEarly morning after breakfast leave for Leh, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft 2nd highest motorable road in the world and Indus Valley. Reach upshi where you drive along with Indus River. On arrival at Leh Check in to the Hotel. Stay overnight in Leh.
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we take you for a tour of Hall of Fame, GurudwaraPatthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Kali Temple and Sangam. At Sangam you can enjoy rafting on Zangskarriver. Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war. Return to Leh in the afternoon. GurdwaraPatthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region. Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable. The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskarriver and Indus rivers merge. The drive will continue further to Basgo fort ( UNESCO world’s Heritage site ) and Alchi ( 11th century ) , 1000 years old Buddhists monastery.In the evening come back to Leh. Overnight Hotel.
Day 05 : Leh /Nubra Valley via Khardongla. 125km.After an early breakfast ,drive to beautiful NubraValley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) with the zig zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Nature's nest North camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel. Overnight at Camp or Hotel.
Day 06: Turtuk excursion – The Last point/ village on India –Pak BorderEarly morning drive to TurTuk village with drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village is about 115 kms from Nubra valley and can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here, we will go for a walk around the village and also meet the people. Later Come back to Hunder villag. Overnight at the camps or Hotel
Day 07 : Disket/ Hunder/ Pangong Lake (Via Shayok)Today , we get up early morning visit to Diskit monastery and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck . Overnight at Camp.
Day 08 : Pangong To Tsomoriri Lake (Via Tsagala Pass 4635 Mtrs)Early morning ,after having your breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake en-route Tsagala pass. Tsomoriri Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds and other wildlife , chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull, Wild ass , Tibetan mastiff , and many more .The Lake is 8 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long with colors and shades of nature overwhelming you .Overnight in tents.
Day 09 : Tsomoriri/ Korzok/ Tsokar/ TanglangLa/ Jispa-keylongAfter breakfast drive back to Leh visiting PugaSulphur Mine, Tsokar Lake and through Taklang La Pass (17585 ft) second highest motorable road in the world.Evening free to explore the local markets of Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 10: Leh - Sarchu / JispaIn the morning, have breakfast and start your road journey to Sarchu, driving past the scenic Puga Valley, Tsokar Lake- another picturesque lake in Ladakh, Skyangchu Thang – a plateau stretching to 42 km. Lunch at the town of Pang. Continue your journey to Sarchu by driving past Namkee La and Lachlung La. Evening arrival in Jispa or key;long Check-in formalities. Stay overnight in Sarchu.
Day 11 : Jispa / Keylong – Manali (222 km / 9-10 hours)After breakfast, drive to Manali. Get ready for a scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La(4845m). Next you cross the very popular Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 13050 feet. Arrival in Manali. Check-in hotel.
Day 12 : Manali (Departure)Check out and depart for onward destination- with sweet memories of Himalayas
